Radiant energy is only absorbed by solid objects and is not wasted heating the air. In addition, Infratube heaters emit no harmful ultraviolet rays. Since there are no open flames or carbon monoxide emissions, mounting clearance requirements are minimal. Infratube fixtures can be installed at lower mounting heights, under canvas, wood awnings, eves and in interior locations.

Because the W4024 Infratech Electric Outdoor Patio Heater runs on 16 Amps, a standard heat regulator cannot sufficiently handle the current. Therefore a Zone Control Kit, which includes a zone regulator and remote analog control box, is recommended to control heat output.
