  1. Heater very quiet when working, but fan blades started to hit plastic housing soon after purchase, making very annoying noise. Push button used to choose heat/fan settings not reliable after 2 months.

After two years, can’t get button to turn heater on at all.

Would never buy another one of these.

It only heats a small/medium bedroom-sized room. It is quiet (not silent, but very quiet), which is really important to me. I like the safety feature that it turns off when tipped. It’s hot to the touch, but wouldn’t instantly burn you, so I feel it’s pretty safe around my kids.

My main complaint is that the temperature settings never really worked for us. We have much better luck just putting it on “high” or “low”. And it uses a lot of energy, of course.

I’ve only borrowed this heater from a friend for a few days, but it works well. It’s a nice feature that you can set the temperature as well as “high” and “low” settings, although it doesn’t always work the way I want or expect it to. Pretty simple to figure out though, and the “vizi-heat” feature is pretty cool- the paint is heat-sensitive, so it becomes orange when it’s on. The grate didn’t seem to get too hot to the touch though, nor the other surfaces of the heater. Pretty quiet, too. In all, a good, solid-feeling product.
