Product Description
Delonghi fan heater with adjustable thermostat and thermal cutoff for maximum safetyAmazon.com Review
No more worrying about overheating or starting a fire, a ceramic thermal cut-off mechanism shuts the heater down if it’s accidentally tipped over or covered with curtains, blankets etc. A dual heat-flow setting makes it easy to regulate. Choose the “hi” setting for 1500 watts or the “lo” setting for 750 watts. And, an adjustable thermostat helps fine-tune temperatures and conserve energy. When winter is over, the fan operates without heat for summer cooling. A built-in handle and wide solid base ensures optimal stability and convenient portability. And, this quiet operator is perfect for any room in the house. An anti-freeze setting automatically turns on the heater when the temperature reaches 44 degrees Fahrenheit. –Brian Olson

This heater is very unnerving; it shuts off every 10 minutes. I bought this heater for office use and am very disappointed with its performance. A co-worker/friend recommended it to me. We are now strictly co-workers.

I purchased this fan in late December. It broke after one month of infrequent use.

First unit shipped didn’t work. Amazon was awesome in dealing with the replacement.
Good news I can share is that you can sit this little guy in your lap and won’t get burned, on the other hand that’s the only way you’ll get warm. Placing the heater directly at my feet, under a desk, was fairly worthless. That was all I hoped for in a cheap and dimunitive space heater, but my expectations were apparently set too high.
My advice: if you think this might work for you, buy it from a supplier with a return policy just in case your experience is as disappointing as mine. In all honesty I think my wife’s hair dryer would warm my work space better. Some lucky person will inherit it at half-price when it finds its way onto a tag sale table next summer.
Guess I ought to mention that my first test drive of the heater was not in single digit temperatures. It was early September in the Catskills, with outside temp at 55 (F) and inside my office, circa 65 (F). Save your money and just adopt a couple rescue dogs for the same amount of warmth.

I hesitated before buying this product because it doesn’t look so aesthetically pleasing but that can be overlooked!
Pros: heats…. INSTANTLY! No waiting if your freezing in winter. Small, portable, able to use as a fan for summer or as a heater for winter. GREAT price. It actually doesn’t look that bad in person. Fan is pretty quiet.
Cons: I don’t understand why there are 6 levels on the knob for Fan. It seems to only have one speed and turns on and off around 3. The fan is not very powerful but I used it today on a very hot and humid day and it was sufficient. The red light on top doesn’t ever turn off when it’s plugged in.
Conclusion? Can’t get a better deal for the price…. overall, very happy with my purchase!

Mine had a very loud rattle (Maybe it was defective.) In addition the control dials are not well marked and a bit difficult to turn.
